Because Searstone residents never stop growing, neither does our vision for the future of retirement living. That’s why Searstone is expanding our own horizons with The Highview. Designed to complement and enrich the experience of our original campus, The Highview offers a wealth of new amenities including upgrades to, and the addition of great outdoor community gathering spaces.
Walkability is a hallmark of the Searstone campus, and The Highview will offer easy pedestrian access to all of the community’s amenities like our lushly landscaped outdoor gardens, lakeside walking paths and gathering spaces. Keep reading to get the inside scoop on these new features coming in 2024.
The Gardens: All who enter through the the front entrance will be welcomed by a spacious garden area. This grand lawn is sprawling and inviting for basking in the sun or picnicking with friends. Benches are tucked within private pockets scattered throughout the lawn for socialization.
Also with in The Gardens, you’ll find Wildflower and Community Gardens: Enjoy a book, cup of coffee, chat with friends while taking in the beauty of these bright wildflowers, native to the area. For those who love to garden, we’ll also have raised beds for grow your own garden.
Sport Court: Work up a sweat at our sport court conveniently located within The Gardens and enjoy some friendly competition among friends and neighbors. You’ll get a workout in without even knowing you’re exercising.
Walking Paths: Smooth walking paths wind throughout the lawns and gardens. Weather you’re in the mood for a power walk or a nice leisurely stroll, we’ve got you covered. Our paths are conveniently located and easily get you to different areas in the community.
North Courtyard: This space is designed to be a small gathering area to sit outdoors, enjoy a fire in the firepit and perhaps enjoy a singer or performer. The courtyard will feature tables and seating areas, along with fire pits for an ambient experience – so grab some friends, sit back, relax and enjoy!
The Overlook: Serving as The Highview’s outdoor terrace, The Overlooks is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or drinks with friends al fresco while taking in the views of the gardens and lawns around you. The soothing sounds of the water feature will be enough to grant you serenity all day long. Breathe in the relaxation while being surrounded by lush greenery. You might even catch one of the many bluebirds that fly through Searstone daily!
