Searstone Retirement Community Breaks Ground on The Highview in Cary, NC
Searstone, a not-for-profit retirement community, in operation since 2013, will break ground on its new expansion, called The Highview, on Oct. 21, 2021. The Highview at Searstone will open in 2024, adding 152 modern independent living residences to the Cary, NC community. In addition to the brand-new four-story residence building, the expansion project will include enhancements to the existing community, including a 5,000-square-foot auditorium and arts center.
Speakers at the event will include Barry Johnson, Executive Vice President, Greenbrier; Joan DeBruin, Searstone Resident Council; Lisa Baker Wilson, Highview at Searstone Charter Member; and David Ammons, President, Retirement Living Associates.
Searstone is a continuing care retirement community located at the southeast corner of High House Road and Davis Drive in Cary. The community is not-for-profit and offers several different home styles for independent residents 62 years and older. Searstone gives residents exclusive access to long-term-care services such as assisted living and nursing care. Searstone has been mentioned in numerous national publications such as The New York Times, and is currently accepting wait-list deposits.
