10. At Night All Blood is Black by David Diop – Winner of International Booker Prize
11. Three Martini Afternoons at the Ritz: the Rebellion of Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton by Gail Crowther
12. Lolita in the Afterlife: On Beauty, Risk and Reckoning with the Most Indelible and Shocking Novel of the Twentieth Century, ed. by Minton Quigley – His father first published it in the US.
13. Second Place by Rachel Cusk – not my favorite of her books.
14. Ocean Prey by John Sandford – one of his best.
15. Transient Desires by Donna Leon.
16. Uncollected Stories of Allan Gurganus –  I love his work.
