Charter Members had a very busy summer, but we’re not at all surprised given this active and fun group of individuals. From exotic locales to memories with family, they’ve taken us on a rewind through their summer time activities. Melissa MartinICELAND
Melissa Martin traveled all the way to Iceland this summer. Experience Iceland with Melissa’s photos of the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, the Viti volcanic crater, a farmhouse at the foot of craggy peaks, Close Encounters of the Sheep Kind, a view at the foot of Skögafoss, and an example of the intricate art painted onto many buildings in downtown Reykjavik.
“Iceland is an amazing place with remarkably diverse landscapes, especially considering its small size. If you’re active, there’s lots of hiking and other outdoor sports. If you’re not, there’s plenty of remarkable and accessible scenery to enjoy. I spent twelve days and could easily have spent at least another week without running out of things to do.”

Marcia DiMartino traveled to Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington for a family get-together at the end of June. She spent quality time with her family, including her granddaughter Sierra and her grandson Zach. Take a look at her classic beach photos from her special time in the sand and sea with loved ones.
Saeeda and Munir LadhabhoyCALIFORNIA
Saeeda and Munir traveled to Menlo Park, CA to visit their son Riaz and family – Melanie, Dylan and Cami after a long 19 months of not seeing each other. There, they enjoyed a July 4th celebration, a swim meet with Dylan and Cami, Cami’s theater performance and golf with the family. You can see their photos are full of so much love.
We hope everyone enjoyed the past few months as we say goodbye to Summer 2021 and look forward to the fall!
